Hello Internet!!

So I'm off to uni in Autumn, and I thought I should share this great leap with you all. I'm hoping to study physics, which isn't really a stereotypical girly thing to do, but I don't exactly fit into any stereotype, aha. It's a scary time for me, and I don't want to face leaving school and moving out alone; this is sort of what led me to starting a blog.

You always see girls writing blogs about beauty, health, fashion and how to be just as gorgeous as they are. I am by no way saying this is a bad thing, I'm a 17 year old girl, I adore fashion, make up and feeling pretty, and it's great to read how other girls deal with my everyday make up dilemmas, and untameable hair issues. However, no other bloggers are like me. It feels as if I'm the only one who's  interest in; how to form perfect curls that don't fall after an hour is of equal importance to their interest in quantum mechanics, the solutions to dark matter and string theory, or how gravity actually works. So this blog, if not just for my benefit, is to show any one else like me, YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE!!! I really think it's a shame that so few girls study physics beyond GCSE; it answers all the questions of the four year old in your heart.

I'll try and post regularly, fitting it in around school, work and my pass times-remembering I am a lazy teenager. I hope you find my thoughts and stories are interesting.
